Ep. 1 'You Are a Host Starting Today' While looking for a quiet reading room, "Special Student" (and studious commoner) Fujioka Haruhi comes accross a music room she believes is not being used- the Third Music Room. She finds the Ouran Host Club, who believe she is a guy. Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase worth EIGHT MILLION YEN. To pay it back, she is made into the Host Club's dog. The Host CLub discovers Haruji is quite attractive after removing her glasses, and they make her into a full Host. Everyone figures out in this episode that Haruhi is a girl, but they continue to pretend she's male so she can be a host. Later, a designation named Ayanokoji becomes jealous of Tamaki's attention on Haruhi, and dumps Haruhi's bookbag in a fountain. Ayanokoji later tries to get Haruhi kicked from the Host Club by saying Haruhi suddenly got violent. Tamaki doesn't believe her and kicks her out. |

Ep. 2 'A High School Host's Work' The Host Club puts on a tropical paradise for the young ladies. Haruhi finds out the Host Club is going to have a dance party, and she doesn't know how to dance. They get Haruhi's new designation, Kasugasaki Kanako to teach her to dance. During this, they find out that Kanako is affianced to a student named Suzushima Tohru. They don't really talk, even though Kanako really likes him. During the dance party, Haruhi dresses as a girl and pretends to have a crush on Tohru to lure him away and meet up with Kanako. Tohru ends up confessing his feelings for Kanako, and they get the last dance of the party together. Kanako is given the title of dance queen, and as a reward is supposed to be given a kiss on the cheek from Tamaki. |
